Rules of stay at Poligon

Regardless of the booking method (website, phone, or direct), the booking is considered valid after its confirmation by the Poligon administration.
Cancellation of the booking without loss of funds is possible no later than 24 hours before the start of the rental. If the booking is canceled later, the funds will not be refunded. In cases of force majeure, the Poligon administration let change the date and time of the booking twice.
Payments for Poligon services are made in cashless form.
Visitors’ cars are allowed to enter Poligon`s territory no earlier than 15 minutes before the start of the rental of the shooting range.
On Poligon`s territory, the speed limit for vehicles is no more than 20 km/h.
All clients are personally responsible for the timely completion of shooting at the range. Staying on the range after the end of the rental time, automatically extends the rental for an additional hour. The possibility of extending the rental period is discussed in advance with the Poligon administration.
Shooting is allowed only to persons with a firearms permit and after passing a briefing on safety measures with a corresponding entry in the briefing log.

It is strictly prohibited:

To allow shooting for those who have not been instructed in safety measures and are not equipped with eye and ear protection.
To violate safety measures when shooting and changing the direction of shooting.
To allow minors (those under the age of 18) to shoot firearms.
To cause deliberate damage or destruction of property on shooting ranges. To shoot up cars and protective structures. In case of damage to Poligon`s property, the administration will charge a fine of UAH 5000.
To fire from weapons of calibers exceeding those permitted at civilian ranges.
To enter the shooting range in a personal vehicle. If necessary, only upon agreement with the Poligon administration.
To stay at the shooting range after the end of the rental period without prior agreement with the Poligon administration.
To use any pyrotechnics without the approval of the administration.
To consume alcoholic and low-alcohol beverages on Poligon`s territory.
To allow shooting for those in a state of alcohol intoxication or under its consequences.
To relieve oneself in places not designated for this purpose.

In case of violation of the rules of stay at Poligon, the administration reserves the right to expel violators from the territory without refunding the money paid for the services.

Rules for handling weapons at Poligon

All weapons must be unloaded and loaded at the shooting place after the instructor or judge commands.
It is allowed to load magazines with cartridges only on the firing line after the instructor or judge commands.
Weapons may only be loaded after the shooter has entered the shooting place with the weapon aimed at the targets and at the command of the instructor or judge.
Opening fire is carried out only at the command of the instructor or judge.
During shooting training exercises, hold the weapon exclusively in the shooting direction determined by the instructor or judge, regardless of whether it is loaded or not.
At the end or during a break in shooting, as well as when transferring or receiving a weapon, it is necessary to make sure that it is not loaded. If necessary, unload!
The shooter cannot leave his shooting place until he has unloaded his weapon.
Any actions with weapons are prohibited while staff, instructors, judges, or others are in the shooting area.
It is allowed to move with a weapon only after it is unloaded:
– with a gun – in a holster or case;
– with a carbine – safety on, or with an open bolt with the barrel directed upwards or in a case;
– with semi-automatic or pump-action rifles – with an open bolt with the barrel directed upwards or in a case;
– with bolt-action rifles – with the bolt pulled out with the barrel directed upwards or in a case;
– with double-barreled guns – in a bent position!

It is strictly prohibited:

1. To carry out any actions with a weapon without the command of the instructor or judge.
2. To point a weapon at people, to the side, or to the backyard of the shooting range, regardless of whether it is loaded or not.
3. To leave a weapon unattended in any place, or to transfer it to other persons without the permission of the instructor or judge.
4. To enter the areas of the shooting complex fenced off with protective tape.
5. To shoot with a defective weapon, defective ammunition, or without the command of an instructor or judge.
6. To stay near the firing line without active headphones, earmuffs, or other similar hearing protection devices.
7. To stay near the firing line without eye protection.
8. To be in the area of the shooting complex while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The shooting stops immediately
at the command of the instructor or judge, or independently by each shooter in cases of:
– the appearance of people, animals, cars on the target field, low-flying airplanes, and helicopters;
– giving the established signal about the danger of continuing to shoot;
– fires occurring on the target field and on the territory of the shooting complex;
– loss of orienting points by shooters, especially at night.
